| I'm a buckeye! |
Unlike my father, who complete a great transformation from a technical worker to president of his own company, I prefer risk and adventure rather than industry. My logic is apparent: The more risky a stuff is, the more beneficial it becomes. Thus I cannot emphasize the charisma brought by investigation and stock too much. And moreover I don't intend to slog on the same path like my father. That is also what he taught me: At his young age, his father, my grandfather, wanted him to inherit his career which was to be a farmer. As innovative my father was, he was left with no choices for paucity of the family. That was why my father came up with an idea to steal and sell the two cows that my grandfather used to sustain the whole family. By making grandfather frustrated, my father successfully paid his tuition fees for college. Fortunately, my grandfather forgives him after so many years of success.
My father's future plan or layout for me leaves much to be desired. It's time for "revolution", so I can earn my own respect exchanged by the "two-cow" risk. That is also why I made up my mind to study in USA. During my first week in the US, I found myself suddenly submerged into ponderation of the word "freedom". People tell different stories and dreams about themselves like being artists, musicians, and pilots rather than the cliche "After my college, I will find a steady job and earn money..." I really enjoy responding "I-O" to those lovely people who shout "O-H" even in the middle of a lecture... I feel my life is more than finance and more than struggling to be a "highly respected" person. People are concerned more about what they actually are rather than what they should be. So I think future is going to be more exciting and challenging than I can ever imagine!!!
